AAPC Releases ICD-10 Code Conversion Tool, Now Available to the General Public
The AAPC launches its ICD-10-CM online code conversion tool, which allows users to convert (or "map") ICD-9-CM coders to ICD-10-CM codes (or vice verca) through an easy-to-use online tool. The tool is now available on the AAPC's Web site () free of charge.

AAPC Begins ICD-10 Implementation Training with Series of Free Webinars
The American Academy of Professional Coders is hosting a free ICD-10 implementation training Webinar series in July. The series, which has separate tracks for providers and payers, will review the ICD-10 training plan and the necessary steps for successful implementation. The two-part payer/health plan Webinar series runs on Tuesdays July 21 and 28. The three-part provider Webinar series will be held on three consecutive Thursdays: July 16, 23 and 30.

GeekPrideDay.org and the world Federation of Geeks salute Geek Pride Day, observed on May 25th, the day the original Star Wars premiered in 1977.
